🚀 Somnia raised 10x more than Vana. Could Quills be next?
Somnia's TGE is close.
Its $SOMI token is preparing to launch on the market.
And they have raised an incredible $270 million.
Still time to position yourself?
⟶ Let’s break down the numbers and history to find out.
📜 Context: How do projects reward their OG holders?
Paul Thomas, CEO of Somnia, posted this on X months ago:
“I am researching how projects have rewarded the first NFT holders in the ecosystem. Who did it well and why?”
👉🏼 The most common responses were clear:
“Study Vana.”
“Vana collection did it perfectly.”
And it’s no coincidence.
🔍 Vana case: $7,000 per NFT
Vana allocated 0.81% of its token supply to holders of its “V” collection.
Supply of the collection: 3,993 NFTs
Result: $7,000 per NFT received in the airdrop.
And Vana raised $25 million in its fundraising.
Somnia, on the other hand, has raised more than 10 times that amount: $270 million.
And yes, Paul Thomas was impressed, saying:
“This one seems pretty consistent. Studying.”
“Definitely looking into Vana”
Another team member even made it clear that Somnia would do very well with its community 👀

🧬 What is the main and OG collection in Somnia? Quills
Let me tell you the most interesting things about this collection:
Supply: 3.333 NFTs
Somnia minted and holds the 10% of the collection
The entire team uses Quills NFTs as PFPs.
They give a +200% boost to Somnia points.
They are the identity and representation of the Somnia community.
They will have a 1:1 airdrop with their next collection, “Somzies” (pets).
They are developing their own video game.
Somnia continuously supports them and includes them in its project. They treat them as their main collection.
⚠️ Yes, there are other collections in Somnia... but with all due respect, none of them come close to the cultural, symbolic, and community significance that the Quills represent in Somnia.

💰 Possible Airdrop Calculation (Conservative/Pessimistic Scenario)
If Somnia mirrors Vana’s reward strategy, Quill holders could be sitting on a goldmine.
Here’s why:
Let’s run a scenario where we imagine the Quills receive a % of Somnia’s tokens, just like Vana did with its collection:
Assumptions:
Total $SOMI supply: 1B (confirmed)
Circulating at TGE: 20% (hypothetical)
Airdrop for Quills: 0.5% of total supply (conservative example, Vana gave more)
Estimated marketcap at TGE: $600M (same as Vana)
Calculation:
0.5% of 1B = 5,000,000 $SOMI
Quills supply = 3,333 NFTs
Tokens per NFT = 1,500 $SOMI
Token price = $3
Estimated airdrop value per NFT: $4,500
📉 This scenario is conservative–pessimistic.
Given the current market conditions… it could be even higher.
📊 Current Price of Quills
Current floor: $600–700 per NFT
If Quills receive this allocation for their holders, even if you haven’t used the Somnia testnet, you would still receive the airdrop.
📌 Conclusion
Am I saying that Quills will definitely receive this airdrop?
NO, absolutely not. This is not confirmed.
They might receive something even better, or they might receive nothing at all.
But all signs point to them being the most likely candidates if it happens.
❌ This is not financial advice.
It’s my analysis, my intuition, and my way of sharing value by presenting my thesis.
Based on this information, you can study it yourself and decide what to do.
🧠 What would I do?
Study the Vana case.
Study Paul and the Somnia team.
Study the Quills and Somnia’s collections.
Connect the dots.
Make decisions before the TGE and snapshot.
